Plans & Limits
What your plan limits, and where to see your usage.
1. What’s limited
Section titled “1. What’s limited”Your plan sets a limit on devices, sensors, and automations — account-wide totals, not per project. Projects and team members aren’t plan-limited. A limit can also be unlimited, shown as ∞.
2. Where to see your usage
Section titled “2. Where to see your usage”Your account Dashboard and Settings → Plan both show your plan name, its status (trial, active, past due, grace, or canceled), and a usage meter for each of devices, sensors, and automations — your current count against your limit.
If your account has limits customized beyond your plan’s defaults, Settings → Plan notes “Custom limits active (overrides plan defaults).”
3. Hitting a limit
Section titled “3. Hitting a limit”Creating a device, sensor, or automation past your limit fails with an error explaining why. There’s no advance warning before you try — check your usage meters if you’re planning to add several at once.
4. If your subscription lapses
Section titled “4. If your subscription lapses”An account without an active subscription is paused account-wide — not just over a limit, but unable to use devices, sensors, or automations at all — with a message directing you to contact your account admin to reactivate. A blocked account shows separate messaging directing you to contact support.
5. Changing your plan
Section titled “5. Changing your plan”There’s no self-service upgrade in the console today — contact your account team to change plans or adjust limits.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Automations — one of the limited resource types.
- Device Provisioning — creating devices and sensors.
